This drawing plays with comparison, insecurity and the quiet pressure to measure up.

The flowers here are trying their best. They’re bright, sweet and full of life. But still, there’s that nagging voice: sure, these are nice… but are they nicest? It’s a commentary on the endless loop of self-comparison and the way we’re taught to undervalue the beauty right in front of us - including ourselves.

It’s gentle, a bit sad - and hopefully a little funny. Because sometimes the only thing wrong with something lovely is the idea that it should be more lovely.
